WISE
multifunction land CT units combine coiled-tubing reel,
control cabin, liquid nitrogen, nitrogen evaporator
and nitrogen pump, and hydraulic crane on a single trailer.
If higher pumping pressure is required, a compact pump/engine
skid on a bobtail trailer towed by a pickup truck accompanies
the WISE unit.
Comparison with Conventional
Systems
WISE
multifunction technology:
Coiled tubing, nitrogen, and pumping capabilities
are packaged on four compact, lightweight skids.
Conventional
technology: Four skids typically required
for only the coiled tubing capability.
With conventional CT equipment,
a typical pressurized nitrogen well cleanout requires
as many as four trucks—coiled tubing, nitrogen,
rental crane, and pump—and at least six people.
With a WISE multifunction CT unit, the same well cleanout
is performed with one 18-wheeler, a small trailer (for
a pressure pump and power unit) towed by a pickup truck,
and a crew of three.

| The WISE land unit was the first
application of WISE multifunction technology. It
combines coiled tubing and nitrogen capabilities
with a control cabin, hydraulic crane, BOP stack,
and injector head, all transported on a single trailer.
The truck engine powers all of the systems using
proprietary power management technology. |
