With our compact, lightweight
WISE offshore skids, we performed the world's first
well intervention from an amphibious vessel, demonstrating
the ability to reach previously unserviceable wells
in marshes and shallows. The amphibious vessel, which
had been purpose-built to support environmental services,
travels through water using its own propulsion system
but also has wide, low-load tracks that carry it over
low-lying land and shallows. The WISE modular system
is the only full-capability coiled tubing spread that
fits on the deck of the vessel and does not exceed deck
load limitations.

CT unit arrives at a shallow-water well location
in Timbalier Bay, offshore Louisiana, after crawling
through tidal marshes at low tide. The tracked platform
carries a coiled tubing reel, injector head, blowout
preventer, hydraulic crane, nitrogen unit, high-pressure
pumping system, and control cabin. |
